How to set up XP Dial-Up Part 2: Making A New Dial-Up Networking Connection 1. Click Your New Shortcut 2. Click Properties. 3. To add Alternates, Phone Number else go-to #6 4. Click Add. xxx.xxxx then OK 5. Remove all others Click OK.  6. Click Configure for modem, set speed to 38400,  OK. 7. Click Networking, Mark as per picture.  Now close this all. 8. Open Control Panel [Classic View Internet Options] or IE stay off Line.  Click tools, Internet Options. Set Home Page www.chewelah.us 9. Click Connections, your isp Settings. 10. Click Advanced.  11. change setting as per picture then OK. 12.. Close out of all settings, go to file and uncheck work off line Enjoy Your Dialup is Setup
